A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT-ELECT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

Nigerians decided to put their trust  in you by their massive support and vote you had from them. Based on your campaign ideologies, they built and established their trust in you. Majority of us trust you with our lives and high expectations are being waited by all Nigerians-never you disappoint us Mr President. Below are the major challenges facing the country.#

1.Corruption has become the monster bedeviling the growth and development of this country. It exists in the nooks & crannies of all her institutions and in all her facets of operations. There is an urgent need to build a strong institution that will checkmate the spending of all government parastatals, agencies and ministries. Pls make this your top priority.
2. High rate of unemployment in the country is very appalling. Our teeming youths and graduates have lost hope of securing good jobs in a country that is highly endowed with both natural and human resources. Mr President this is highly insulting and an urgent attention must be given to this issue. Most of us still in school have no hope of securing jobs upon graduation.
3.There is the need to diversify the economy by full mechanization of agriculture across the six geo political zones. This have a long way to go in providing jobs to our teeming youths and serves as a sources of revenue. Exploration & Production of solid mineral resources is paramount to the growth of this country. Skill acquisition and local industries should be encouraged.4.Poverty alleviation and youth empowerment is urgent needed.High rate of poverty can no longer be tolerated.
5. Salary structure of all government institutions&agencies should be reversed. Nigerian lawmakers earning so high and cost of governance need urgent attention.6.Establishment of special law enforcement agents for prosecuting corrupt leaders is paramount to the growth & development of this country.
7. Security of lives and properties of the citizens should never be neglected by your administration
8 Discipline, tolerance of one another irrespective of our diversity, patriotism and good governance should be preached to all and sundry.
9.Be careful with your advisers, aids and other executives. Spare no one for their wrong doings. I cease this golden time to congratulate you on your victory as the president and commander in chief of all armed forces of the federation. May the good Lord give you the strength to govern this nation.
