Empire Mates Entertainment, EME chairman, Banky W says the recording deal that his label provides is the best in the country.
This, the R&B singer told soft sell tabloid, City People, when he was asked if the sharing formula was responsible for Wizkid’s alleged decision to leave the label.
‘EME has the fairest recording deal in the country by far. I can go pound for pound and show you the terms that EME artistes including myself even though I own the company, have versus any other recording contract name the recording company. You don’t do that but I can beat my chest to say EME has the best recording contract in the industry, it is not just true for people to say or hint that any of my artistes are receiving 25%’, Banky W stated.
Still insisting that Wizkid is still a part of the family, Banky also claimed that the EME contract favours the artiste more than the label thereby dispelling the rumour that the youngster’s decision to seek another management and establish his ‘Starboy’ label was based on a ‘sharing-formular’ that Wizkid felt was no more favourable to him.
The issue of Wizkid quitting EME has been a focus of discussion for sometime now, even though both parties are yet to officially address the many questions or convince teeming fans that all is well

 FACEBOOK HOME; ZUCKERBERG'S ANDROID TAKEOVER

Mark Zuckerberg wants to turn your Android phone into a simple, sharing device. And by that, he means he wants to turn it into a Facebook phone.
Facebook just announced its newest product, Facebook Home, which all but turns any Android handset into a “Facebook phone” by putting the social giant right there on the home screen and all of its products at the forefront of the UI. It isn’t a phone made by Facebook. It’s actually something better than that, and in some ways, more important: a deeply integrated application with its hooks set tightly into the Android platform.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been hinting at this route for years, all while combating Facebook phone rumors. A phone is “so clearly the wrong strategy for us,” he said in 2012. And he’s right. Facebook can’t take on Apple and Samsung, or even Microsoft and BlackBerry, for that matter. Making hardware is a lot of work, and that kind of work doesn’t make sense for Facebook right now. Instead, the social network is making sure that it can be as front-and-center as possible on all the most popular platforms today.

When the news broke of Janet Jackson's secret marriage to billionaire Wissam Al Mana, the first question on your mind may have been "Who is Wissam Al Mana?" For a wealthy fashion tycoon in a relationship with one of the world's biggest super stars, Wissam keeps a pretty low profile.

Running the family business with his two brothers, Wissam has built a luxury empire in the middle east. Al Mana Retail represents such high end brands as Giorgio Armani, Hermes, Balenciaga, and Roberto Cavalli. Al Mana also owns stakes in the Saks Fitfh Avenue stores in Dubai, Bahrain, and Kuwait, and is opening the flagship A/X Exchange in a Qatar shopping mall. Wissam's net worth is estimated at $1 billion.

Wissam, who at 37-years-old is nine years Janet's junior, once told Harper's Bazaar Arabia he grew up in London and got a job in retail at the age of 14. The rest was history.

In November 2011, Al Mana had this to say to VMAN magazine about his special lady: "I don't date Janet Jackson. She is my girlfriend; there is a difference. She is a very special and talented woman who never ceases to amaze me." Talk about Prince Charming.

What's even more likable about this guy? His late father is his role model.  "My father was a very humble and down to earth man, and was known for being very honest and trustworthy," Wissam told Bazaar Arabia. "He taught us many great values such as to treat our employees with dignity and respect."

He also shared with the mag about his dream woman, who just so happens to be Jackson. "I think a man's dream woman changes as he goes through different stages in his life. I'm fortunate to be dating my dream woman now," says Al Mana
