GRAMMY ENFORCES DRESS CODE

Music's Biggest Night, the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards, will return to Staples Center inLos Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10th 2013. The Grammy red carpet is famous for over the top edgy, fashion statements as musicians are known for their nearly-naked dress code violations.

This year the Grammy association have enforced a strict dress code, in anticipation for some weird wardrobe decisions. The Grammy Awards have issued a ‘Standard And Practice Wardrobe Advisory’ to all attendees, instructing them on the do’s and don’ts of a new Grammys dress code.

It reads: “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered…thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare flesh under covers of the buttocks and buttock crack.” Side boobs, a recent red carpet phenomenon, are also banned: “Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples.

wow! LOL...lady Gaga wont like this for sure.

Popular comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, tells anyone who cares to who cares to listen that ladies don't find him attractive anymore. Spotted at the unveiling of Stellon Solution, the comedian says his pot-belly and old age are reasons ladies don't 'chase' him.
He says, "Some of us who are pot-bellied and 'old' don't have the pleasure of being chased by women anymore. We have left it for the younger ones. Women don't chase me anymore; they know this big belly wouldn't let me run."
Although some say women don't take comedians seriously, the dark skinned performer says that his wife takes him serious.
Adeyinka says, "I don't know if women don't take comedians serious but my wife takes me serious, especially when I want to pay school fees."
With the younger crop of comedians doing well for themselves and often laughing to the bank, Adeyinka, fondly referred as the 'Comedian of the Federal Republic,' says that he does not feel threatened.
"There is no competition. I do not feel threatened by the younger ones. Who is there to threaten me? I still work about four times a week. I am not threatened by anybody. If anything, I am grooming younger ones so that I can relax and do more expensive and fewer jobs," he says.
The CFR says it is only a fool that will not pray for the growth of the younger generation.
He continues, "I think it is a stupid old person that would be envious of the young ones making it because before we made it, some people were making it. I do not believe that the younger ones are doing better than the older ones. I know that I am still doing as well as anyone in the industry, but our prayer is for the younger ones to grow. If we pray to grow and the industry dies, in 30 years time, nobody will remember our names. It is good as the young ones are growing but then the growth of the young ones does not kill the older ones. The older ones like myself are consolidated. We are doing bigger things that will even help the younger ones."

 Beyonce

Ever wondered what Lady Gaga meant by “born this way”? Well, here’s exactly what she was born with, as she displayed in a stripped-down shot posted on Twitter shortly before her 26th birthday. No feathers, flames, or filet mignon in evidence? Beautiful!

“Just realized how dumb u look takin self pix on iPhone,” Rihanna tweeted in April 2012. Okay, you do look a little silly, maybe, Ri Ri–we see you laughing at yourself! But that certainly doesn’t detract from the 24-year-old’s fresh-faced beauty, which she can’t hide behind her hand.

With “Irreplaceable” beauty, 31-year-old Beyoncé looks simply stunning while fresh-faced on vacation. The singer frequently posts makeupless pictures on her well-curated Tumblr page, and no wonder–she always looks amazing!

If what we hear is true then American rapper, 50 Cent is on his way to Nigeria to feature in a flick, which would be produced and directed by Emeka Ike.
A source close to Ike disclosed that the movie is a spin off of the actor’s involvement with the training of ex-militants from the Niger Delta, a project he is so dedicated to. “This is a big one for Nollywood. As you read this, plans have been concluded to bring 50 Cent to Nigeria to feature in a new movie. And guess what?
He would be starring alongside Nigerian big names including ex-militants who have renounced violence for peace. The ex-militants underwent special training in acting, cinematography and the basics of filmmaking and production under Emeka Ike in Ghana.
This is the first of such films; many more are on the way. The objective is to practically demonstrate how movies could be used as a tool for empowering restive Nigerian youths,” the source states. Skoops further learnt that work on the movie will begin before the end of the first quarter of this year

Police in Abia yesterday exhumed the body of a 400 level law student of Abia State University, Mr. Obinna Obasi Awa from a shallow grave where he was buried in a farm around the university community settlement in Uturu, Abia State. Obinna Awa, the second son of an Abia-based lawyer, Barrister Awa Obasi, was said to have died after undergoing rigorous ritual exercise, following his intention to join a cult in the school. B
ut in a swift reaction, Obinna’s father said that his son was murdered by those he thought were his friends, who later buried him in a shallow grave. The lawyer, who spoke to Saturday Sun at the premises of the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia, said that his family was initially looking for Obinna as a missing person. “Today is the 15th day since we started looking for him.
We saw him last on January 22, and revelations show that he died the same day they whisked him away. His friends planned, dug grave, tied his hands behind him and killed him, what a world we live in, what a betrayal of friendship? The culprits must be found where ever they are and tried according to the law of the land, otherwise people will keep dying and they would be mistaken for missing people. If not that God made it possible for us to recover his body, we would have still been wondering whether he just died or got missing. My impression is that his close friends took him away and murdered him”, he lamented.
Another source from the campus said that the deceased had returned from the initiation ground complaining that he was feeling very weak and was advised to take glucose, but after drinking it, he complained that he was getting weaker and weaker and one of his friends suggested that he should be taken to hospital and when the Capon heard it, he warned them that no person should try that. At that point, he started breathing loudly and they took him into the inner room, locked the door and increased the volume of the radio set to thehighest point so that passers- by would not hear his groaning.
According to the source, when he eventually died, they took his corpse to the bush at night where they dug a two- feet shallow grave and buried him. The Abia State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ambrose Aisabor, who spoke to Saturday Sun, said that before this incident, about 25 students of Abia State University had been arrested and were currently cooling off in the police net awaiting arraignment. “The initial case that was reported was that of a missing person from Abia State University. But during our investigation, we discovered that he was taken out on January 22, by members of Maphites Confraternity.
Those who saw him said he was in company with some cultists, going into the bush, next to the Queens Lodge where he resided. “We arrested two of the cultists initially, one is the son of one Professor Onwuchekwa called, Chiemele, who was his room mate and the other is  Okoronkwo Obinna, though they were not there during the initiation exercise, they were not connected with the murder, but they are still cultists and will be prosecuted accordingly.
“We learnt that it was in the course of initiation that they inflicted lots of injuries on him and he gave up the ghost and they went and buried him in a shallow grave.   Investigation is still on, at the end of it, we will charge the culprits to court. It is a pure case of murder.  But the other two who are involved were the ones that led the police to the place that they buried the deceased. Chiemele and Okoronkwo are members of Maphites Confraternity, but not part of the initiation”, CP Aisbaor said

I should be fit for final —Moses •Eagles train in J’burg

Victor Moses
Fitness experts spent the greater part of Thursday working on the pair of Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike in a surely desperate bid to get the strikers ready for the Sunday final match against Burkina Faso. But even as he still limps, Moses has assured fans of the Nigerian team that he hopes to be fit enough for the most important game of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup.
After numerous inquiries made by journalists on their fitness in Johannesburg on arrival, the Chelsea attacker who scored Nigeria’s two goals against Ethiopia used his Twitter platform to answer the questions in one statement.
He tweeted, “Lot of people asking about my injury. I’m having treatment and hopefully should be fine for the final.”
Emenike was not readily available to speak on his own state but team officials have said that the injury turned out far less than imagined during the game. Both players have combined to give Nigeria six goals in five matches.
Coach Stephen Keshi added voice to Moses, statement by also by saying that there should be no need for panic over the two players.
“The medical team here is working round the clock to ensure that they will be ready for the final on Sunday. They will advise us on what to do at the appropriate time,” he said.
On Thursday, the Super Eagles team doctors compelled Keshi to exclude the two players from the training programme until they give the approval for their return to full action. Both players were substituted in the Wednesday’s 4-1 win over Mali after sustaining injuries.
After the semi-final victory over the Aiglons of Mali in Durban, the Eagles have quickly put the victory behind them as the team arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday afternoon to begin preparations for the final match at the Soccer City in Soweto.
The team arrived Johannesburg at about 1.45pm local time aboard a South Africa Airways plane. They moved immediately to their base at Garden Court Milpark from the airport and left the hotel for training soon after their lunch. They are expected to train twice on Friday and Saturday at the same venue.
The Sunday match has been moved back by 30 minutes from the original time at the request of the organisers which means that if it is effected it will now start at 7.20pm Nigerian time.

Emenike and I can deliver trophy –Ideye

IDEYE
Dynamo Kyiv striker Brown Ideye believes  his partnership with Spartak Moscow hitman Emmanuel Emenike  can yield the Super Eagles their third gold medal at the South Africa 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
But the former France-based player expects a difficult match against Burkina Faso in Johannesburg on Sunday.
Nigeria beat Mali 4-1 on Wednesday to set  up cup final against  the Stallions,  who sent out Ghana from the tournament  on penalties in the second semifinal . A win for the Eagles will see them ruling Africa again, having  won at home in 1980 and at Tunisia’ 94.
Ideye, who scored the second  for the Eagles, told our correspondent that he had struck a good understanding with Emenike, who he described  as an “unselfish playmate”.
The former Ocean Boys star said, “Emenike is strong and understands being a partner to another striker.
“It’s rare to find a partner who understands the way you want a pass to come. We have only being together for a few weeks but there is great  understanding between us.
“He knows when to slow down the ball and keep it until there is someone to play with. A selfish partner can be frustrating but with him, you only need to be at the right place to get the right pass.”
The 24-year-old added, “We have played  Burkina Faso in the group stage  and  we know  how they play. But they also understand our style too, so it’s going to be a difficult game.”
He praised the efforts of Mikel Obi in the tournament, saying the Chelsea midfielder’s performance had been inspirational.
Ideye said, “Mikel   works very hard, plays  for  the  team and helps even outside his position.
“Coach (Stephen) Keshi likes players who work hard and play  to his plan.
“I’ve played  at the back and in the midfield in this competition, especially when our opponents are threatening us.”
