The English premier league which kicked off on August 17 2013 is springing surprises as newly promoted sides like Hull city and Cardiff city bagged all 3 points this weekend. Newly promoted side Hull city defeated Norwich with a goal to nill on saturday afternoon while Cardiff city on sunday afternoon defeated premier league giants Manchester City 3 goals to 2 with goals from Aron Gunnarsson in the 60th minute and brace from Fraizer Campbel in the 79th and 87th minutes saw the home side with a 3 - 2 defeat over Man City .Goals from Edin Dzeko in the 52nd and a goal from Alvaro Negredo in the 90 th minute saw the visiting side with a 3-2 defeat. How long will these newly promoted sides continue to show their Prowess in the EPL, Only time will tell.
