information currently reaching us from nassarawa state university currently says that violence has broken out after a peaceful demonstration by students over scarcity of water. this protest was mis interpreted by soldiers who fired shots at the protesting students killing one and injuring many others.
It has been reported that the student union government president in the school was mercilessly beaten by the soldiers
